The girl U12 from Kids Ark Foundation, along with the Lanna Rugby Club team Lanna Rugby Club, were overjoyed to participate in the National Thailand Rugby Union 7s Championship 2024 last weekend at the Royal Thai Air Force Academy in Bangkok. The children they are didn’t expect to win any awards; instead, they were excited about the opportunity to travel to Bangkok. Many of them were so thrilled before the trip that they couldn’t sleep, as it was their first time seeing the capital of Thailand, and they were eager to explore far from home.
We are very proud of them for finishing as runners-up in Division 2. They played their best, and even though some got injured, everyone showed great resilience. The team gained valuable experiences, and their kind coach organized outings, various activities, and treated them to delicious food. The kids were very happy and will remember this experience to help them improve their skills in the future.
